Ahhhhhh

Feels good to be back. I'm returning a little bigger. Did you know San Antonio is the fattest city two years running? In my book, it also happens to be the nicest cities too.

In addition to the general demeanor, here are some of the things that happened. A waiter walked us through his bar, down two blocks into another bar, seated us and got us menus. Someone offered me a dollar to take the trolley. A very dignified looking man saw a woman with her crying child and gave them a high end stuffed animal (and gave another one to a kid who watched the whole thing).

Pictures will be continually added to my Flickr.

First Day

I'm glad that I'm here a little early. I'm very impressed with San Antonio. It helps that this is also the first night of the weeklong Fiesta, which is quite a party. I'm posting my first few pictures on my Flickr.

Hot Hot Hot

San Antonio will be in the 90's during my stay.

Yay

I'm leaving tomorrow for an APA conference. I'll be back Wednesday.

Chamillionaire

I was hoping I'd be the Chamillionaire but someone has taken the title. Who am I kidding, I wasn't going to get there anyway.

The Question

Does this look like Michael? I say no. For one thing, I always had a really wild boy grin on my face...

Story of My Life

It is abundantly clear what I need to do. In basketball, everyone has been telling me to shoot more. Now at work, I've been told to speak up more. Who knew that I was such a passive guy?

Sore

Went to the Temple City batting cage during a pleasant Easter Sunday. I'm feeling incredibly sore right now. It's somewhat satisfying but a bit too achy for me. All those swing and misses really can hurt a guy...

Today

It was a wonderful Ktown evening. The kind that I'll never have once I move away. Dinner at Beverly Tofu, drinks at the Bounty, and even found a "go to" pool hall.

"Playful"

I just got a hilarious joke email from a coworker: You've been so serious lately...What happen to the playful Mikey?

Baseball

There must be some problem with me because I love baseball. I don't have cable so I value every game I can catch on KCOP. And tonight's game was quite a treasure.

Cars

I suspect something is going on. This past weekend, I randomly saw a livejournal friend from SF on an LA freeway. Someone had just rear ended him. That night, I also saw some hoodlums race down Vermont and slam a car into a furniture store. They came out puffing their chests and laughing. Last, two different cars have recently changed lanes right into me w/o looking.

Something is coming. I know it. Time to drive more cautiously. And time to not forget to put my seat belt on...

Birthday

Jason and I celebrated his bday by dressing up as classic villains from our youth. Everyone else went 80's. My flickr also has pictures of sailing and a recent dinner with Matthew, Aileen and John.

Racist?

Is The Yellow Series by Adidas racist? Does it matter? I tend to not care. Besides, I'm happily a New Balance man myself.

Angel Observations

GA smiles much more than previous seasons. Esteban Yan must go.

2:46am

I'm going to bed. Just finished my "costume". It would be pathetic if it wasn't so funny. Expect pictures by the end of the weekend.
